Men’s Ministry
MINISTRY DESCRIPTION
The Men’s Group Ministry currently involves the planning and programming of a two breakfast meetings a month for men in Spanish. They also take on the responsibility of informing the men of the congregation by email or telephone when and where the breakfast will be held.
They are commited to purposefully prepare for each meeting.
WHY ATTEND A MEN’S GROUP?
Although men generally appear to be fine (we often supress ourselves to the point that it is rare to see us cry) and on Sunday mornings we usually put our best face forward, the reality is that we do have difficulties. Many of our problems are emotional in nature, we have been hurt, or someone has hurt us, and as a result we find ourselves hiding in a maze of confusing feelings we don’t know how to express. Often our hiding is a result of guilt and shame, but if we hide from these feelings we will not be able remedy them, or grow through them. The Men’s Group is a place where men can come together and accept each other despite our failures.
PURPOSE OF CANCUN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH’S MEN’S GROUP
To provide a time for men to enjoy God’s grace, experience acceptance despite our failures, and together discover the Truth of Jesus Christ for our lives.
NEEDED:
Men that have a real desire to grow spiritually.
